Eric Peterson, MSOD, Sr. Consultant, is a recognized facilitator and educator in the diversity and inclusion space with over 20 years of experience in unconscious bias, diversity and inclusion, learning strategies, and organization development.
Eric has worked across a wide variety of sectors including advertising firms, member associations, healthcare organizations, performing arts organizations, technology firms, and telecommunications companies. He has expertise in unconscious bias, allyship, the LGBTQ community, and whiteness as a social identity.
He has led a variety of workshops with audiences that included C-suites and Boards of Directors and has held the role of Manager for Diversity and Inclusion at the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), the largest professional association for human resources professionals and diversity and inclusion practitioners. Additionally, he managed diversity education design and programming and has worked extensively with employee resource groups. He has been a guest contributor for NBC Out and has been sourced as a diversity and inclusion expert by CNN, National Public Radio, the Washington Post, the Boston Globe, the Los Angeles Times, and others. Eric holds a Master of Science in Organization Development (MSOD) from American University.
